iTunes weds Quicktime..

I am not an Apple fanboy, but still admire them for the image the company maintains.

Somewhere around a year to two ago, Apple got iTunes married to Quicktime. And they are an inseparable couple too. Every single time I want to get Quicktime (irritatingly TSR program that it is), the install program tries to push the irritating iTunes into my system. Beleive it or not, I do not own an iPod and iTunes would be my last choice for a music player or organizer.

On the other hand, on a friend's system, I tried to get iTunes installed and Quicktime tags along. I think a Divorce is necessary and it is about time they considered it, just to keep users of either program safe.
